A mama, wife, dog mom and marketing connoisseur Lauren is part of the creative team at Thomsen Homes. With over 10+ years in marketing, Lauren keeps the creativity flowing through Thomsen Homes. She helps build the brand and is inspired by our clients home building journey. Her passion and dedication for marketing and storytelling is one of her favorite parts about her job here at Thomsen, oh, and the sweet team she gets to work with everyday. - Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What did you want to be when you grow up? A veterinarian
- My favorite word in the English language is? Uffda
- If you were a superhero, what super power would you have? I would want to be able to fly. That way I could get around quickly and get a different view ?
- If you could be one character from any movie, who would you be and why? Carrie Bradshaw from “Sex and the City”- Have you seen her shoe collection! Yes, please!
- Favorite holiday and why? Christmas, I love everything about this holiday from the food to festivities it is just a joyful time!
- Look at your last song listened to. What is it? Ummm… The Cupid Shuffle- It’s my 18 month old’s favorite.
- What, or who, are you a “closet fan” of? All things Bravo ?
- Would you rather explore a new planet, or the deepest parts of the ocean, why? Can’t I just explore land ? ? I guess if I had to, I’d pick a planet. I probably would not want to get out of the space craft though. Not really a fan of aliens:)
- If you could play one instrument you aren’t able to now, what would it be and why? Piano, because it is such a classic and beautiful form of music.
- Outside of work, where can we find you at your happiest? At home with my family, or on water. I love spending time on a boat and on water.
- What is “home” to you? Home is where my family is. A place where I can unwind and be myself. Really, my happy place.
- What are you most grateful for? Family and Friends and the community I live in.
- What are some small things that make your day better? Cheese. Really any kind of cheese ? A sunny day, there is nothing better. And baby giggles.
- If you could switch roles with anyone in the company for a day, which one would you choose and why? A Construction Manager, I think it would be fun to build a home from start to finish.
- What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job? I think I am a good listener and am able to bring a creative vision to life. One of my favorite parts about being in Marketing at Thomsen Homes is I am able to connect with customers and document their stories of who they are and the home they built with us.
- What do you love most about your job? I get to be creative and learn new things. And of course the awesome people I get to work with!
