Host a Winning Super Bowl Party

Since 1967, the Super Bowl has been the all American sports events. There are even talks of making the day after the Super Bowl a holiday (We won’t hold our breath). Wrapping up the football season is a time of mega hype, best commercials and don’t forget eating. Super Bowl Sunday has fanatics all over the country firing up crockpots of chili, mounds of nachos, boatloads of chicken wings, lil’smokies, pinwheels and monster bowls chips, dips, spreads and salsas.

Festive Football Décor

  • Use a small section of AstroTurf from your local hardware store and cut out coasters.
  • Buy banners or streamers to hang- Go with the team colors to keep the party festive.

With sites like Pinterest at your disposable there are some fun twists on what you can do to shake up your traditional tailgate fare. Here are a couple ideas for inspiration:

Set-up

If you are the host of the party make sure you take into account, your space and how many guests you are expecting. Will you have the game on in multiple rooms of the house or just in one space? Is there enough seating? If people bring an appetizer to share have space in the fridge or an outlet handy if it’s in a crockpot. Make sure there is room if you need to prep food in the kitchen.

As the fall colors continue to change Thomsen Homes wraps up the 2016 Fall Parade of Homes. Hopefully you had the chance to make it out to the Thomsen Homes in the parade this fall! Enjoying some of our new updates to the floorplans and inspired fresh design.

In case you missed the HBA of F-M fall parade this year we had five homes featured. Thomsen Homes is excited to showcase the new model homes in some of West Fargo and Fargo’s latest developments.
