Thomsen Homes 2017 Recap
We're already two weeks into the new year and it's hard to believe January is half way over! Looking back at 2017, it was an exciting year for Thomsen Homes. Here's a quick 2017 recap of some of the things we accomplished.
New Stuff
We started off the year with the launch of our brand new website, featuring easier navigation, updated development maps and walk-through video tours of all our house plans.Â
In 2017, we released four new floor plans, including our 1805 1 1/2 story, 2585 2 story, 1439 rambler and our 1706 rambler. During the summer, we announced our new Level of Value by including a sod yard, appliances, deck or patio, and LP SmartSide siding in every one of our homes.
This fall, Thomsen Homes expanded to Grand Forks! Bringing our Affordable Luxury homes in the development of Crary Sixth Addition definitely makes one of our top moments for 2017. Here's a look at our three model homes in Grand Forks:
Events
February was the Red River Valley Home & Garden Show where we featured our dining room gravity booth. (You better come see us at the 2018 Home & Garden Show to see what crazy booth we have planned for this year!)
We were very excited to meet Ree Drummond, The Pioneer Woman at the Eco Chic Design Conference. Not only did we help with the event by sponsorship, we also featured our gravity booth.
The summer brought us several golf outings with the HBA and FM Realtors. Don't forget about the successful Thomsen Homes Backyard BBQ!
Fall brought us the Fall Parade of Homes where we featured four model homes located in Deer Creek (and a food truck or two).
Favorite Moments
As a team, we have many favorite moments of the year, but our top favorite moment was volunteering for the Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity Hero Build 2017. The #ThomsenGiveBack program was started in 2017 and our team is very appreciative of the opportunity to give back to our community.Â
Another favorite moment is being able to volunteer at the Great Plains Food Bank. From bagging potatoes to volunteering at their Back Pack program, the small amount of time we give makes a big impact to our community.
This November was the 2nd annual 'Stache Bash, which was another favorite moment! During the month of November, for every contract signed, Thomsen Homes donated $500 to the Movember Foundation. We celebrated with a bash in Grand Forks and Fargo, raising even more money during the bash!
Thanks for following along on our crazy and exciting ride in 2017. We are very excited about the year ahead and have big things in store for 2018!
